Pics from our trip to Granite, Or. This group of cows and young bulls were just below Olive lake in the Desolation unit. Crayfish delight, straight from Olive lake.

The lake is pretty far out there, how long does it take to get there once you leave the highway? How is the fishing?

The fishing is not to good. lots of small kokanee(4-6 inches) planted rainbows :tdown: The lake has a lot of trash fish as well, but the crawdads are plentiful. From Granite to Olive lake is 25 to 30 minutes on FS rd. 10, and a lot longer coming in from the west on hwy. 395.
