Well Dale had many superstitions, one was having his good luck charm by his side all the time. The monkey. This monkey was loved and hated by many of us close to Dale. The luck usually swung in Dale's favor when the Monkey was around. As a tribute to my buddy. I have been travelling around and hunting with other friends taking Dale's Monkey along for the ride. Kind of a homage to our buddy. Here is what has transpired so far this year. Miss you bud! Hunt On!

Here's the monkey Dale gave me. An exact duplicate except longer hair. But don't let the longer hair fool ya.......he's a "Mail" monkey.

This is one of the best threads I've ever read! Thank you so much for sharing it with us. You have definitely paid a good tribute to your buddy Dale, I have no doubt he is smiling down on all of you. A good friend/hunting bud is hard to replace, if not impossible. Way to keep keep moving along and creating even more memories with the monkey! Bless you all.
I'm sure Dale appreciates your kind words. God broke the mold when they made "The Mailman". He is essentially irreplaceable in my mind. We all miss ya Buddy! This season has been a real tribute to him. I know he's in a better place smiling down on us. :tup:
