I see the issue, Longview script for St. Helens Tree Farm only shows the access hotline and no information.

At this time, the Vail tree farm is closed to ALL recreational access due to extreme fire danger. Absolutely no access of any type – not even walk in – is allowed. The tree farm will re-open for recreation access when we receive adequate rainfall.

He said next mid week for walk in and next weekend for vehicles. :dunno: Weyco security has been thick here at Vail the past few days. They have been making sure everything is well posted and that no one is sneaking in to scout or set up camp.

I also have a friend that works in the woods for weyco. He said that they wanted two inches before they opened the gates.I'm pretty sure they won't open for this weekend.

I wish hiking was an option but there is no way my dad can hike with his bum hip.

Even though rain is in the forecast, it will take a substantial amount to lower the fire threat from this 3-month plus dry spell. Monday morning we will review the amount of rainfall received along with road conditions and update this recording with any changes.
This what I found about vail this suck no ft Lewis no vail where can we hunt.

Anyone know about the ryderwood unit? Im going to some private land down there. but it wot take me alll day to hunt it. I have hunted there before but I do not know if it is weyco or not
Last I've heard is all the Weyco land is still closed to public access until further notice. I imagine they'll open it up after the weekend. Hopefully sooner.
