I've been curious about hunting ducks on Ft. Lewis, since I hunt there for pheasants and it's close to where I live. Is it worth a try? I've got a little 10' layout boat I can use too if that would help. Basically I'm just trying to find a decent freshwater duck hunt anywhere near Tacoma. I'd hunt Nisqually but I don't want to risk it in my little boat. Then again, if I stayed close to shore....
