Title: UPDATE - Get-Together Readmond/Bellevue/ Points North and South
Post by: Carl on October 16, 2012, 11:40:27 AM: Is anyone interested in having a sandwich and beverage soon? I’ll throw Thursday 5:00 PM out there and if next week works for more people, then let’s do it next week.

We enjoyed the patio at Red Hook last time, but we’re probably not going to be blessed with great weather this time.
Same food and drink inside :chuckle:

So, let’s see who’s interested, what day they can make it, and a consensus on location.

I’m looking forward to the fellowship and stories, :tup:

I won't know if I can come whenever you guys decide to do it so don't wait on me.
You guys make a plan. If I can make it I'll be there. Next week will be rough unless its the end of the week thurs or friday

russ_mcdonaldand and Cascade_fisher joined me for some enjoyable stories and personal background.

Russ was at our first get-together at Red Hook Brewery in Woodinville a few months ago. I had the pleasure of meeting Cascade_fisher for the first time.

I think we also recruited 2 new forum members – Aaron and CJ (I think it is CJ). Anyway, they saw our Hunting Washington sign and wanted to talk hunting so they joined in. Very nice guys if anyone has an opportunity to interact with them.

There really is a great amount of information (concerning laws, land types/rules, etc.) shared at our little gatherings! Oh, don’t count on any GPS coordinates – friendship only goes so far… :chuckle: :chuckle:

I’m going to suggest we either go back to Red Hook next time or find another centrally located spot. Black Raven is nice, but they don’t serve food! With the exception of a hotdog stand in front or you can order in pizza.

I know we have several more members in the area and I say we keep throwing out invitations and see who shows.

What about a ClaimJumper meet up sometime. Their happy hour menu and drinks are incredibly cheap and it is just off the freeway for folks.

I am in Federal Way and some of the places, mentionied on this thread, are a few minutes (45+) drive from my house. :bash:

Although I have been hunting a number of years, it has mostly been in NE WA and Germany. It would be great to hook up with some 'local' hunters for pointers and, perhaps hunts where I can put meat on the table. I am, primarily a meat hunter, but I would be, totally, out of my mind to pass up a good rack.

Let me know when and where and I will do my best to join in; it sounds like a great time. :tup:

Why don't we try a Snoqualmie Brewery since it would be I90 for the Issy/ Federal Way folks, good for Russ, works for me and isn't too far for Jackelope and Carl to hopefully attend. Remember to bring your growers for a fill up.
Friday is tough since I generally take off for a bird hunting weekend to the far east on Friday afternoons but we'll see. Maybe I will have to do a mid-week run :hello:
