Title: Cougar Down!
Post by: aardvark on October 19, 2012, 02:41:26 PM: Shot a good Tom this morning. Had him on camera a few times. Neighbors goats were disappearing. I blew it in September during archery elk season called one in and missed archery shot. Is there some red liquid coming out the side of its head? I am always amazed how long their bodies are. Have other cougars on cam with a lot longer tails but not that big in the body. I didn't measure the length. I'm 6'2" and 240. My buddy is 5'10" 165. The exit hole is the hole you see in the picture. 7mm08 120gr accubond. Up hill shot. Sorry, not going to tell a story beyond that. Don't want the pros calling BS or telling me what I should have done. It's a dead cougar. That's what matters.
