Just wondering if anyone has seen any birds coming in with the weather?
-
I have seen many large flocks coming over in the past week. They are definitely arriving in mass.
-
i watched about 50-100 drop yesterday on my way home in the field just south of the sumner golf course... could be a good sign, biggest flock i've seen so far this year.
:IBCOOL:

They started coming up the Columbia in large flocks this past week. Seems there are many more than usual for this time of year from Vancouver to Cathlamet.

I have been seeing large flocks daily. I could also hear them flying over the house last night. The migration has started!

I have seen thousands of Cacklers in Sequim; and few Specks and Greaters. About a hundred in a flock and moving all day long. :twocents:

We have record numbers of Cacklers in the valley.

I saw tons flying across the peninsula (Sequim/PA) last week. I almost pulled off the highway to look, it had been a while since seeing so many.

I didn't make it out. I ended up assisting my daughter with her Halloween costume. Then I saw that same buck and does on the hill so we did a little stalk on them. She loved it. By the time we cam back down it was time to go to school.
I am going to do some scouting for deer this weekend and I have a definate plan for some goose hunting on Wednesday with my father in law.

Spotted a few thousand snows yesterday!!! On the wetside!

I been seeing tons of geese and ducks flying over up here. I have seen huge flocks of geese land in the corn fields right next to us.
Not too much into hunting ducks and geese...as I raise them and I can have duck or goose any time... :chuckle:
