Dang it, that is one smart Buck. I bet he even uses a cross walk so cars don't hit him.
-
There's a blacktail worth getting fired up for.
-
One word: Crossbow!
-
Nice bucks. I love me some big Blacktails.

another good reason why bow hunting in town is a good idea. there are more in town than out of town...and nice old ones too. i've got several that pass through my place everyday including the one on my pic.

Washington Park area of Anacortes has some beasts, but Anacortes has a no hunting Ban. A few years back someone shot a big one with a bow and it piled up in some greenie's yard, a legal mess started, and now a ban within city limits. Especially ridiculous if you see how much bigger city limits is than the city.
-
You see these a lot in Bellingham. They only get harvested by vehicles. Many of those big bucks limp around town from multiple encounters with vehicles.
-
Welcome to Bellingham.
That type of BT roams the city limits quite a bit.
Take a drive out thru the Sudden Valley development. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if the potential state record or two was mowing someones lawn out there. :chuckle:
