Been looking at both items at the feed store and wholesale sports out in silverdale and cant help but notice all the info and pics on every one i come across are all about big whitetail back east somewhere.
Just wondering if these bait blocks are any good for blacktail on the westside of the state. I only hunt blacktail an only in the kitsap / mason area so i would rather ask then throw money away that i aint got to begin with.
Also seen a bucket for horses with oats and molasses in it at Cenex and wondered if that would work as well ?

I have a friend with a camera up in the Cowiche area, he uses a deer block with corn and molasses in it. It is gone within the week. The elk lay down alongside of it and eat it. I tried it in the little Naches area and at best the elk would sniff it. The squirrels packed the whole thing away. Not much help here, but every area may be different. I think you will just have to try it.

What about mule deer?

Trophy rock I had elk on every day except in season(my luck) and for blacktail the best I've found is the cheap multi animal farm feed that we give our pigs and goats and some rock salt or salt block. Set up that camera, keep the bait around and good luck.

Deer nor elk hit the minerals/salt heavy once the antlers harden.
-
trophy rock is a glorified trace mineral salt blob that cast more than twice that of a 50lb bag of trace salt

They won't come around as much after the horns harden. Put out a bag of corn or wheat. They'll come into it all year!

I have had great succes in early season on the East Side with Buck Lickers but only minimal on the West Side.
If you are trying to get deer in regular especially for late season archery, go with apples. There is a Baiting thread on the first page right now and I wrote a short essay on how I do it.
Good luck.
