Post by: mulehunter on August 31, 2008, 05:38:43 PM
Geez what a busy bear out there! I went over check my camera and I sudden notice something moving upper and I look over left and spotted a small darker red bear running upper from me about 40 yds and bear quickly ran over the hill and I drove forward 200 yards where he run over to ridge and I stopped and pull bow out and walk look for him and he didnt run thur ridge, he just run over top and take right go stright where I park he ran north toward to me and I draw my  bow and he kept running and running and I was about 70 yds he stopped and I couldnt release my arrow to the head so I wait and wait he sudden ran down real fast couldnt get a clean shot at 70 so I let him go. it was really smaller bear and it was about 100ish lbs Nah my wife took a pic of bear when he was start to run away from us  while I was aim at bear.
NEXT TIME!  :'(

I think your punctuation ran away with the bear.

That's okay.  Better luck next time.

Don't let it get you down.

Ever stop to think that quite possibly english is a second language for him?  He has been around a long time and proven helpful and knowledgable.  He has changed his screen name so as not to be confused with someone else with a similar name. But has been here and contributed and never been harsh to anyone else that I have seen..........

Cut the guy some slack.

Actually you could not meet a nicer guy then mulehunter, and if you met the man you'd feel pretty much like a jerk at this point.  I have had the privilege to meet him for a short period of time and I really look forward to hunting with him in the future.  Sheesh sometimes you guys can be real peckerheads.   >:(

Way to go getting close to that bear. It took a while for me to find the bear in the pic. Am I the only one that couldn't see it at first?  :dunno:

I am glad to have coonhunter/mulehunter back.  He gets some great photos and spends a huge amount of time in the woods.  He definately knows his stuff.

MuleHunter...
Looks like a great day out. It doesn't look like a big bear, but it sure has a wonderful color to it. I'd be coming back in a year or three!

Oh yes...and congrats and getting your wife outdoors and hunting with you.
I'm fortunate enough to have found a keeper that enjoys the outdoors as well...but not all of us hunters are so fortunate-take advantage of it since you've got it!

I think your punctuation ran away with the bear.

Comments like these are exactly why myself and so many others have left the "other" hunting and fishing forums on the web. They aren't needed, they aren't productive, and they just make you look like a *censored*. Perhaps you would feel more comfortable at some of those "other" forums...?

You guys are right, sometimes I may not make sense to all you english majors out there.  English is my second language, I am deaf, sometimes i write as if i am talking.  Sorry about that,  :bash:  I just like to share my experiences and pictures the same as you yall, Happy hunting!  Thanks for the support from those of you who know me!  :)

I figure you were deaf as your words read a lot like ASL.  I come form a family of three deaf grandparent s and my momwas on eof the first registered interpreters in Washington state.  She is a founding member of the Washington State Registry of Interpreters for the deaf and wasa member of CODA as the only hearing child of two deaf parents.  Sign language was her first language.

Do not sweat the comments that were made.  Those of us who have known you here all along got your back.  I gotta say, you sure have made a great impression on Machias.  I turned him on to the book "Joy of Signing".  I know it is old, but it is one of the better ASL books I have seen.

Now get off the computer and go get that bear!

You going to just hang around your farm again for your bull like last year(was it last year?)  Drive down the road and see the bull in your pasture and stick an arrow in him.  That was a nice bull!  I need a pature like that once in a while!

Hey DeKuma, Thanks... Yes I own a ranch with full of Elk but now it was almost foreclosed because I bought other ranch and thought it was better than old one but I was wrong. I am stuck with new ranch with NO ELK!  :bash: So People who is trying to buy it back from me and still processing No promise about it.
There is 11 nice bulls out down from my old ranch and Last week, someone shot or it may a hit by car but picked up by Game warden NOT whole body just head and two legs.  :bdid:  NOT sure what happen to it. He was not around the truck this time so I took picture of it wonder why he took head with some meat? Maybe he just pick up for evidence case or taking home with out telling state? It would be interested if he did took it home. legally??  :bash: Anyone interested if I could post it if you guys want to see it.  ;)  It was not a real nice bull just small.
I talked with few guys on this website and they arent sure why and whats happen. So I didnt have chance to ask this Officer. I think he was busy tear some more Strap steak to take home for dinner!  :chuckle: BUST!!! :o

But there is few real NICE ones down there. I asked whole neighborhood for permit to hunt on their property, and they all said NO!  :'(  so I leave them all alone. Dang.. At least I tried.
