What is your preferred late blacktail hunt method?
I usually do well enough in the late muley hunt, so I only hit blacktails every other yr or so. I have been fortunate enough to harvest 2 big blackies with my bow. 1 was last day of early season, the other was last day of late. Neither were rutting obviously.
I'm contemplating throwing up a stand with some apples on a travel route, and bagging one of the 3 pigs my wife couldn't kill during rifle....
That being said, to answer my own question, i prefer still hunting..... Has treated me very well... You???

Stands, blinds over apples gets it done.

I tend to still hunt during the late season. I was out in Sept. this year and it was HOT! Not a dang thing was moving. I'm hoping that the poor weather during modern will help me out the last week of Nov... FINGERS CROSSED!
