Yes i have a boat and all the gear for big water hunting, but don't know areas where hunting is allowed. Primarily gunning for divers(that also includes sea ducks)

Since your in Vancouver, I would start at Longview and start working your way down to the mouth. You can get the boundaries possible from the WDFW. Lots of good stretches to check out.

I have been hunting the Columbia from camas to illwaco for the past 4 years. Want to try puget sound

thats the worst idea Ive heard today... lets see... i'm going to go from one of the most productive areas of the state, to one of the least.
Oh well. Knock yourself out.
-
Best bet is to get out there and do some scouting. Take the other half out for a day on the water.

They usually put a flag up around boat, easy find. I don't think that is legal though. :twocents:

i know it isnt the sound but its eith the 23rd st or 28th st luanch in aberdeen in the mouth of the chehalis, tons of ducks there, dont know if its legal, hey what about chambers creek at the little half ass launch in steliecum and head south along the bank to the nisqually delta, awesome flyway, but you gotta check if it is legal

Hood canal has lots of birds.

Hey Quack. I grew up hunting duck on the salt in the south sound. It can be great hunting. And yes, there is more than sea ducks. And yes, they will come into your spread. I have hunted the Columbia a bit as well. Both are fun and productive. PM me if you want some info.
