Title: if you see a bull in rimrock and dont have a tag...would you tell me???
Post by: backwoods_boy on September 02, 2008, 10:38:14 AM: i was just curious.......if you dont have a bull tag for a bull and see one in RIMROCK...
the question is would you tell me????
or at least give me some hints as to where he might be hiding.....
just wondering.....
i need to get back to work... ha ha

my dad and brother will be looking for the 6x6 but me on the other hand would be tickled with a rag.
help me out buddie.

and just so you know i have done more than my share of homework but it doesnt hurt to ask.
i am going over 4 times before my hunt to scout.....trust me i am doing my homework.

dont feel bad guys.

my uncle has draw the rimrock bull tag and cow tag (modern firearm) 7 times and has never once even made the trip down there. BUT every time he has been down there for deer he has seen big bulls and tons of cows. GO FIGURE!!! :dunno:

Post by: Red Dawg on September 11, 2008, 06:57:41 PM: i am telling you guys that you should hunt around the airport on the penninsula and up around lost and long lake. you will see a lot of elk no problem. And i will tell you that i have seen at least a dozen bulls shot on the damb road. i dont know why but that is the way it is in their. Hunt all of the benches down to the river from lost lake.
