Title: Turkey in GMU 568?

Post by: turkeydancer on November 13, 2012, 11:55:54 AM: They were initially planted by the creek at the back of Lake Merwin ... they have now spread to Chelatchee Priairie and behind Yale Res. ... also north (Dubois Road) and as far up as Lake Merwin in the spring to mention a few places.

That said think about the Klickitat where they are more plentiful, you can harvest 2 (versus 1), Merriams are easier to hunt than the more reclusive Easterns, and usually better hunting terrain & weather. :tup:
