Well after last year for him being a bust, and early season not working out for him with football. Tonight he connected on a fork horn. After draggin me all over the woods in his typical style, told him lets go check the bait pile and see if there is anything there. So off we go, sure enough this little guy is chasing after a doe when we come up. The doe spots us and bolts, he follows. :bash: Told him be patient they'll be back. I started doing doe bleats and grunts. Within 5 minutes, he comes walking back in. Sniffs turns and walks off again :dunno: Back to grunting and bleating my butt off. Sure enough he comes back in again. Bipods out, nice shooting lane. I hear click then boom, so much for warning dad the shot was coming but hey he dropped him right where he stood so I am happy as can be.
