Title: mossburg 500 slugger
Post by: coachcw on November 12, 2012, 06:41:14 AM
I was up at the Super store on sat and picked up a 500 slugger with scope . I was gonna pick up the nikon bdc shot gunner but figured I'd try the crapper that came on it ( since it was lazzer bore sighted lol ) . the range was packed and all the fiffty's where taken so I settled in at 100 yards . first shot with the 385 sabot was one foot low and three inches right . went 12 clicks left and a couple of cranks up , checked the screws and let another fly. Fricken right in the bull , shoot three more to make sure the scope wasn't gonna change it's mind . went to fiffty and shot dead center three inches high. Has anyone else had any luck with the no name scope that mossburg sends out with this combo ?

I have mossberg 500 slugger, but with iron sights. I'd keep a close eye on that scope. Water or impact might throw it off quickly.
