I heard about a large black bear shot out of Sumas. 700lb-er i heard.....any pics or anyone have a story? It wouls awesome to hear about or see pictures of. Thanks

i would say thats pretty unlikely. 300 lbers are rare. in that area

700? If he was that big, he had a hump on his back (or large paddle-like antlers).

my cousin killed one out of orting that weighed 556 lbs, i know it aint 700 but its possible

Talked to some guys a few years agao that had a favorite bear in the area. They called her Oprah 'cause she was huge and would just wander around like she owned the place. Maybe that was a 700 lb'r?

I haven't heard of any large bear taken near Sumas this season.
