Title: Montana Rifle Company MRC
Post by: Hi-Liter on November 16, 2012, 03:57:58 PM
I am thinking of buying a new deer rifle in .270 or .308. I shoot left handed. MRC has some really nice rifles, a little spendy but do anyothers have one and do they like them? I noticed the safety is opposite from your trigger finger? the model 700 is on the same side as the trigger finger and I really like this option. Thanks

I have a 375 H&H built on one. They are heavier than a remington by a bit and aside from the safety shape and the bolt release, it is a pre 64 winchester copy. They tend to need a little finishing compared to other custom actions. They make a good foundation for a classic caliber build, but they are no Dakota.
