I'd say T/C Encore HANDGUN would be good to go or any other type of handgun.

What made me question it ,was that it said revolver type , Why not just say revlover??

I think as long as it shoots a revolver type cartridge you are good to go... so your T/C in .44 mag would be fine. Your T/C in 30/30 would not be.

Ah, a 30-30 in a handgun is still a handgun, right ? Is there any cartridge specs to determine what is a "handgun" cartridge ?

Regs say "REVOLVER TYPE" Not sure but 30/30 does not qualify as a revolver cartridge.... .30 Carbine would..

Just get a BFR chambered in 45-70

I have a 450 Marlin with a 15 inch barrel and a 308 with a 15 inch barrel for my T/C Encore. It's also a rifle cartridge. Seems like the WDFW should make it very clear in the regs. What is a " revolver type " of gun ? Since it's not a " rifle ", it's a handgun. These rules were probably written years ago and need to be addressed to avoid any confusion. I'd hunt with either as a handgun.
