Title: santas comin...what bow???
Post by: highmuley on November 19, 2012, 09:13:26 PM: In earlier posts, I have asked opinions between a recurve or long bow. I have decided on going with a recurve. I'm askin santa (my wife) for a recurve but I'm not sure what one. I would like her to stay under $300. Any suggestions? I have a compound and normally hunt with a hand gun. I intend to hunt elk with a bow next year. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Post by: Tree Killer on November 20, 2012, 07:33:29 AM: Not a lot choices for under $300. I've heard the Samick Sage is a decent bow for the price. Another option would be a used custom bow...see some good used bows in the $350 - $400 price range.
