Since there are a lot of threads regarding these. It wll be easier to decide for people if there is a poll. Let's vote.

It depends on which nikon but I think their higher end glass is better than vortex.

Very happy with my nikon monarch. Never used vortex so i dont know them. Looked thru a pair in the store but its hard for me to judge them under flourescent lighting.

Upper end, Vortex hands down. Lower end, equal.
