Title: Late Buck Done
Post by: mp.hunter on November 25, 2012, 07:32:04 PM: Got this guy today, shot him at 170 yards and the Bloodline Bullet preformed great. I scouted this buck yesterday and found him again today. I was able to get to him in his bed surrounded by does and a couple young bucks. I am very happy with him, he is an old buck and possibly regressed but is my first mule deer having always hunted whitetails and blacktails. Thanks to all the guys on here who helped me with this hunt. :tup:

12 years and I had to bring this thread back. My son filled his late muzzy tag today. Tough hunt, rut seemed over, no bucks chasing does, loud crunchy snow. Here is my boys buck in the same spot I took a pic of my buck 12 years ago. Thanks to the few guys on who who helped out with the tag, I have more enjoyment with my boys having success than anything, big bucks were far and few but we are happy with the outcome.
