Title: Dogs first night running coons
Post by: toyoda on November 26, 2012, 10:49:33 PM: I took my dog out for the first time to actually run some real coons. Been working with her all summer with artificial scents.

She tracked her first scents and BOOM, 2 coons up one tree!

Curious, what brand scents did you use? Grawes has been the bestfor me

I have only tried the Cabela's training scent. Worked our first night actually looking for them. Now I have a couple of training hides. I didnt have boards big enough to do a full body layout, now I am ready for it. I will try again tonight if the rain lets up some.
