This is my nicest Blacktail. :rockin:

That looks like a good size Blackie. What did he score?

Gorgeous mount wannahunt!

He scores about 104 I believe. Not quite a booner. I think the area in southern Oregon that I got him requires a 110 score.

I don't know about Oregon but I know Boone & Crockett requires a score of 135 for the B&C record book. Still a nice deer! B&C tends to be way higher than average any way....

Your right Michelle. I just looked at the Boone & Crockett record book and it shows 125 for an award and 135 for all-time. Not sure what that difference is. I had mine measured at the sportsman show last year after the boys had been bugging for several years to find out what it would score. I dug out the sheet and this one actually scored 110 2/8. The title of the score sheet says "record book for the northwest" It has several catagories for blacktails (mine would fall under what they call "cascade blacktail" and would need a 125 to make their record book for rifle). I just assumed it was the Boone and Crockett official score sheet but I guess not. The website on the form is as follows if you want to check it out. http://www.nwbiggame.com/
