Wow, that's neat! Never heard of that before.
-
Just noticed his bum leg, I'm sure it has something to do with that. I've seen deer and elk antlers grow goofy when they're injured.
-
I'm not seeing the bum leg. :dunno:

Very cool. Great shot.
-
Cool pic! Now, that wasn't in your back yard? :dunno:

You're right, I thought the front near leg was missing the lower half. I see both hooves now though!

You ever make it in to goat rocks?
-
Nope, too much snow when I had the window. THen got busy with sports
-
That's a billy right?? @ how old would he be?? 5 or 6???
-
Young Billy I thought, but I am FAR FAR from being an expert on goats
-
Me as well... Out of all my judging skills or lack there of goats baffle me...

Many years go my buddy and I were arguing that we were to high for deer hunting. A light snow began to fall and we broke out of the timber to a small flat and there were goats bedded down. The bigger billy closest to us stool and had a obvious deformity to a rear leg and bad gimp. Has any one else seen a goat with a permanent injury? My buddy agreed we where to high and climbed down the other side and I shot a small 2 pt black tail 40 minutes later. He then went back on the offensive essentially saying "see I told you we weren't to high for deer"
