So i got home last night very late after leaving on friday after work to head to RIMROCK for our second scouting trip and with out giving away too much i will say that this trip was very productive. Saturday we hiked almost 10 miles up 661 up and over to S and D hill and came out 8 hours later on 677. One of the hardest hikes i have ever been on, but it was well worth it.
We set up camp at sleepy meadows and had a great weekend. I got home late and didnt have time to load pics yet but i will get on it when i get home. Starting to really like RIMROCK area. :chuckle:
hope everyone had a great weekend... Going back for trip 3 on sept 26-28.

If anyone draws a rimrock tag call me at trophyanteroutfitters 360-801-6438. I drew this muzz tag and have done some scouting. UP high is you choice for muzz and archery. Oct 1 had bulls on top of the ridge bugling but somewhat scattered. Rife tag lives based on weather conditions. These bulls move from goat rocks and regional units down through rim rock including late cowiche unit and downward to the feeding stations. Look at your local maps. You will figure out the migration.
