Title: deer one eric zero
Post by: NW-Eric on September 10, 2008, 07:53:16 AM: went up yesterday to do a little hunting and exploring... right off the bat i saw a beautifull cow and had to just watch her walk away.

but then i came across a nice black tail doe i got to 42 yards and ran out of cover so i drew back... while in full draw she looks my way and spots me, she puts her head back down so i let it fly, but she wasnt having it and jumped the string and took off trotting.

i snuck up to recover my arrow and just as i suspected her and another were still right there but were already spooked so i moved on and shortly ran out of hunting light.

it was nice to get out but would of been even nicer to put meet in the freezer... i had a good time and cant wait to get out again.
