Title: Remington 870 Semi auto???
Post by: TeacherMan on December 14, 2012, 05:24:23 PM
I love the way the wood stock 870 pump fits in my shoulder. Best shooting shotgun I've ever fired. With this said I'm thinking of maybe getting a semi auto shotgun. What would your recommendations be? If there was a semi auto 870 I'd buy it, haven't seen one. What kind of cost am I looking at?

Thanks

11-87 should fit you about like the 870.  Looks like around $750........ Link (http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=322113967)

To me, older Ithaca pump shotguns handle and behave very much like the 870, for what it is worth.

:yeah:
I have been shooting mine since high school. Has treated me very well. Only thing is I have to change the barrel seal occasionally. Won't eject any low brass shells.  :twocents:

11-87 is a good one, just keep a few extra o-rings around in your cleaning kit
