If you were on the westside, we could sure cook some up. You might try TexasPredatorPosse, they are always a real on good load recipes.

I think that scope looks great on that rifle!  ;)

Do you have a bullet picked out that you want to use?

the scope lokks great on the gun. i have been shooting 130 grain core lokts but i want to shoot accubonds for sure. the factory ammo has been grouping very well but i would like it to be better as usuall. man lowedog i still cant believe in how good of condition that scope is in. I thank you for selling to me once again. I will take good care of it. I kind of bought the gun at the last minute so I had to put that scope on it but next year i will get one for it and i will put that one on my boys .243. He is only 5 so he  cant shoot it yet anyway. thanks.

Here is my load for basically the same gun at yours Winchester Ultimate Shadow 140 grain Accubonds 74 grains Magpro 3300 FPS 1/2 groups 100 hundred yards, no high pressure signs at all. This rifle is very accurate shoots everything i have fed it into 1 inch or better.  Please remember to work up to this load as it is fine in my gun but may not be in yours.

62.5 grains of RL-19 in winchester brass, CCI 250 primers, topped with sierra 150 gr btl.  Haven't cronographed yet but should be around 3,000 fps.  This is a max load for my gun so work up to it if you decide to try (disclaimer).  Groups around 3/4" out of my winchester M70 featherweight.  Really looking forward to hunting this gun.  Hope the info helps.

I have had good luck with Winchester 150gr. Power Point. Cronographed 3200fps out of my Remington model 700xcr in 270wsm. Took this mule deer doe with it last season at 298yds.

Don't know about handloads, but shot a couple groups with my XCR last weekend with Federal 140 Accubonds. Little disappointed in my group at 1.25", but maybe I just suck and messed up the second shot. First and third shots measured 7/16". Yeah, I probably just suck lol.

XCR, did you keep your HS stock or get rid of it? How do you like it overall?

I sent the original one back that I ordered and they built me another one. Much happier with the second one. All I need to do is skim bed it now. Have you adjusted the trigger yet? That made a big difference on my XCR.

H-4831? or H-4350 IMR 4350,4831, RL-19, 22, Put a quality 140gr bullet, and you should be fine! I would look for loads using RL-19 or IMR 4831, From what I have seen the 270wsm is not real picky!

The sweet spot for my son's was 69.7 gr. of Magpro pushing a 140 gr. TSX.
Win. brass, 215m primer.
YMMV.

Same thing here basically.  Except only 72 grains of magpro.  Shoot it out of a m70 featherweight.  At 73 grains the primers were getting a little flat.  I would start at around 68 grains and work up until you see signs of pressure.
