I wanna see pics of absolute masher bucks. can be whitetail, blacktail, mule deer or whatever. either your personal best that you've killed or just one you right clicked and saved over the years. I don't have anything to contribute.....yet.
So lets see em. Post some monsters!

Best blacktail so far 2009 high country!

Beautiful bucks guys! Keep em coming. this is serious motivation for me to hit the timber hard for the last week of late archery.

My best washington buck. Got it with my bow last year on public land( OTC area) Saw this buck during early season scouting; decided to go all in on him! I had a multi tag so I hunted him 10 days in early archery, 5 days in ML, 4 days in rifle, then 5 more days in late archery. I saw him a total of 5 times in those 24 days; all during the bow seasons. I Never got closer than 117 yds in early season, though he passed my friend at 79 yds on the second morning of early archery but he didn't want to shoot beyond 60 so he let him walk. Never saw him in ML or rifle and passed on some good bucks hoping to see him. I was starting to think someone got him already, but then I laid eyes on him in late archery so I recommitted to him or nothing! Finally got my opportunity in early December and arrowed him from 50 yds. Best day of my life as a hunter! 33" wide 7x4. Lots of walking and time, but worth it. Most fun I've ever had chasing one buck!

Kazekurt, that is a great story. This is how hunting should be.
BTW, it sure is dark at 10:30 a.m. on the high steppe. What gives?
-
kazekurt,
That's a HELLUVA buck! Good on ya!

I got him around 2 in the afternoon in early December. Probably one of the coldest stalks I've ever pulled of as the temp was around 10 degrees. It took me about 45 min to close into shooting range and I was freezing. I was hunting alone that day so I snapped a few pics with my phone of the deer on the ground, then quickly found cell service, and called my dad to come help me get him out. I was about 4 miles from my truck and didn't want to get caught out to long after dark as I knew the temp would plummet down near zero so I starting cutting him up for the pack out. The first pics I got of me with the buck were of me with just the head when we got back to the truck. My dad snapped them with my phone using the truck headlights for light. My only regret is that no one was there to snap a pic of me with the whole buck when I first got him. That's the unfortunate side of hunting alone in hard to reach places.

Well how about a bench leg :chuckle:
Our benchy bucks don't get much bigger then this.

That my brother is an amazing animal! And super cool story! congrats!

I did not harvest this buck, but inherited him along with 2 other stud muleys. When I get the cape stuck on him he will be the biggest (gross) muley in my man cave. This one went 197 gross.
-
Wow! The eye guards on that buck are sweet! Is that a WA buck?
-
Killed this buck in the Tucannon thanksgiving week in 2010. I drew the 1 permit they gave out and it was the 1st year they offered a late hunt in there. It was the 3rd day of the hunt and the 1st buck we'd seen.
