Title: Nisqually River is hot
Post by: 12Gauge on September 12, 2008, 10:32:11 AM: The Nisqually River is hot right now. Fish are being caught some are shiny and some are dark, but they are biting and jumping. I caught a king this morning that is still has lots of silver although small, but big enough to keep.

To late to post pics, he is already fillet and going in the oven, maybe next time.

But I do know it was hot last night. A buddy was supposed to help us butcher an elk and he was a couple hours late after a "short" stop at handicap. He hooked up with a large chinook that busted him off. Landed a dark silver and lost a couple more.

That was my thought. But it is funny to watch the "is it a chum or steelhead" debate in Nov down there. Friggin' morons. :chuckle:
