Been a good year for the goldeneyes for us. Nothing like shooting ducks with friends and family!
-
This aint Twitter :chuckle: where are the pictures of the :hunt2:
-
It wont let me post pictures. Been trying for a half hour :bash:
-
Try to downsize them on Microsoft Office Picture manager or any other software capable to do so .....and give it another shot :tup:I 've had similar problems ,don't worry they are just too big of files .
-
i finally got some up
-
Good job guys , looks like an area by Brinnon on Hood Canal ...........
-
I can tell where you were! I've driven past there and seen them there often. That water will freeze soon though, you better hit them again soon. Goldeneye are fun to shoot when they are going full speed, we shoot them down on the Big river when the mallards don't want to play.

Nice. Them goldeneye very good to eat?
-
That's a good looking dog  cool birds too

They are all the same.

Uhm, if those were killed along the coast here in Washington, maybe the regs should be reread concerning goldeneyes.

My bet is they are close to Spokane, and not near the coast.
My best days bird hunting were shooting scoters and goldeneyes.
-
Yeah were not on the coast and dont have to worry about the 2 per person here.
-
Looks like a great day hunting
-
Have not seen a lot of birds this year but have seen more goldeneye than ever.

nice shootin guys...yeah I have seen a lot of goldeneye out there too ...I got 4 on a private pond near there as part of my 90 second limit ... 2 greenheads, 1 pintail and 4 goldies... question .... I always hunted the south end of that lake using my dad's boat... so I never went to the "walk-in" side, my question is: is that side shallow enough to set up a spread of dekes out to 20 yards or so? or do you just have to put them in close? or is it just pass shooting with a mandatory dog for downed birds?
-
A boat makes it easier for sure. we use a dogs and put them as far as we can with waders or we use our little boat. the bottom is pretty soft for waders
-
Killed one when I was young, dad made me eat it... :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: never again have I killed any of those chit ducks.
Looks like you had a great day though.
