Title: Deer Hunting in Central Idaho
Post by: jstone on January 11, 2013, 07:23:30 AM
My older brother and i are going to meet in Central Idaho for a deer hunt. We haven't seen each other in 8 years or so. We will be hunting in the Crooked river area. In Central Idaho. Just a little south of Stanley. We used to hunt it when we where younger but haven't been there in 11 years. I Will be perchasing a wolf tag also. I have a question. Has any body hunted in that area in the last couple years and how was it? Also if the wolf has hurt that area, is there any place someone could share with me that could be are back up. He will be over there looking for us this summer.

What unit? I could've sworn that all the sawtooth zones have no deer hunting? I could be wrong...

Buy that wolf tag for sure! The past few years in the sawtooth zone we've seen few bucks but the ones we see are all nice ones.
