Title: Pheasant farms in western Washington?
Post by: BainbridgeHunter on September 17, 2008, 09:26:03 PM
I'm a transplant to the state (been here 7 years) and my sons are getting to an age to want to go hunting with me.  They have expressed a desire to try bird hunting, so I'm wondering whether there are any pheasant farms in western Washington we can try out - preferably on the west side of the Sound.

There's two outside Centralia.  Lincoln creek & Gryphon Ranch.  I've been to Gryphon Ranch a couple years ago and it was pretty nice with good flying birds.  It's fun but you should try to get into some wild birds, good stuff.

Vancouver Lake, but if you come down to Vancouver, please be respectful of duck hunters.  Don't sky bust there setting flocks while your pushing around there blind... >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
