Only 90 days to go!! Can't wait!! Planning on a hunt w/ Bearpaw & pick up turkey mount from Willow Creek.

Wife and I were just discussing that we are at 3 months and counting. I need to order me some new mouth calls.

At least with working 12 hr/days, 7 days a week until later March the time will fly by and I won't be losing sleep over it not being here ... and that'll still leave plenty of time for me to get everything ready to go. See ya in the ole turkey woods ... or maybe not if you have good camo.

Practicing with my bow tonight. I hope to get my first with a bow this year.
-
Turkeys? Theres plenty of ducks and geese still to hunt! Then steelhead, then springers. If I get to amped up now it will seem like an eternity before tax day gets here!
-
Don't forget shed hunting and winter walleye fishing before then too!! But yeah I'm jacked me and some friends had our best season ever last year and looking to have an even better one this year! Got three youth hunters to introduce to the sport too so I'm excited about that!

I cant wait! Wake up at 4:30 and the sound of Thunder Chickens at 5:30 and i'm sitting against a tree with my bow and wait for a longbeard to walk by. Come on April!!

I have killed them with both, but always prefer the shotgun. To me there is nothing like slapping them in the head with lead. :chuckle:
