so i bought a trail cam a couple weeks ago put it out and checked it a couple times and had some success. Last night my buddys and i went to check it and by the way its 2 miles in and off the trail a ways in. We get to our spot and nothing just a bunch of human footprints camera no where to be found. What causes people do steal other peoples stuff it just pisses me off! >:( Just had to vent
-
this seems to be happening more and more often. i wish *censored* would roll downhill more often on these pricks. its ridiculous that they get away with so much.
-
yea only thing is last week when we checked it 2 guys were carrying out plants so we wonder if they is a weed growing opp and maybe they stole it but we have pictures of there face clearly so i hope it wasnt them ill turn there ass in
-

man that sucks, i don't put my trail camera out during hunting seasons for that exact reason. There are more people in the woods and more of a chance that someone will come across it and take it. I think that is why a lot of guys don't like spending a ton of money on a nicer one because there are low life skum out there that steal them.
-
I feel for you. The cage idea aint bad, if some one has to chainsaw then have at it. apparently people cant respect one another.
-
It probably was weed farmers you saw. With the nice weather up until last week, the final harvest would have ended some time within the last few weeks. The pot farmers are getting as dangerous as the tweekers out in the woods.
-
You guys should do a double cam sting. Get one really hidden watching a more obviosu one. Even if its a fake or one that doesn't work. Get them on film....
-
It would be awesome to go back to your same spot and somehow rig a dummy camera up that sprays mace out of a fake objective lens!! Maybe next time they would think twice. :dunno: Maybe one of the gearheads on here can come up with one :chuckle:

No joke...found a spot two weeks ago...conex boxes...generator going on..dogs...stumbled on it...brother and I were out there...then the generator stops and someone says, "I thought I heard something"....
we backed outta there nice and quiet.

Saylean, turn the *censored*s in to the state patrol anonymous pot tip hotline. You get cash for turning them in. The patrol mails a check to you, cash it at the bank. Worked for me...
-
contact local sherriffs dept and USFS that will get the swat team up there. Rewards sometimes are offered. I turned a grow in several years ago...all of the bud was gone....now the potheads are growing plants that produce bud and are only a foot tall. They look like a huckleberry plant. That would be some fun picking!
