Didnt get any info with this except shot this last season on public land in idaho with a bow 632 inches pending new world record. Just wonderin if its legit since i just heard about it
-
You're really wondering if it is legit? I don't think its photoshopped, but I seriously doubt it was taken in Idaho on public land. Probably more like Canada and it more than likely had a tag in its ear if indeed it scored 600".
-
No way is that a 632" bull.
I've seen plenty of 630 class bulls, and that one doesn't go an inch over 610.
Sorry, but you've been duped.
-
Really.
-
What?????
You find it incredulous when a pic just pops up on the internet with a bull elk that absolutely super shatters the current world record, and there's been no previous media attention or story?
What are you, some kind of skeptic?
-
So if I told you Carrie Underwood was waiting for you inn a hotel room with a bottle wine, Viagra, and handcuffs would you believe that too

Well yes, but that goes in another topic. :chuckle:

That bull was shot on rulon jones broadmouth canyon ranch.

I bet there are going to be about 2500 knocks on that hotel room door, good practical joke if you actually know the folks staying in a certain hotel room. :chuckle:
-
Looks like one of those Canadian bulls you see on T.v.... You know ... the ones where you never see any cows in site .... :dunno: :chuckle: Plus they are sitting 20 ft behind it :dunno:
-
Here is the link to the broadmouth canyon ranch elk kills from 2012. I just don't get how people feel like they are hunter when they kill damn near tame elk?

Maybe it's just me, but getting an elk at this place is about as impressive as being able to pickup a woman at a cathouse.

I guess that depends on whether you hunt the high fence or the free range. 5,000 acres of high fence is still a hunt compared to buying meat from the supermarket. I can't bash anyone who does it. As long as they don't start teaching classes on how I should hunt public land because they are the best elk hunter ever I have no problem with it. Looks like it could be fun to see that many huge bulls. But I agree, I'd be more impressed with a guy who takes a 320 class bull in Washington than any huge bull taken behind a high fence.
-
I was referring to the high fence portion. If they can guarantee a bull of a certain size with a 100% success rate, I guess to me that basically is going grocery shopping. I won't begrudge a guy that would rather eat elk than beef, but anybody who goes there to shoot a 600 inch elk is not there for the meat most likely. I also would be more impressed with a guy sitting behind a 200 inch bull taken with a bow on public land then one from this place.

Perhaps the best line I have ever read on Hunt-wa. Thanks for the good laugh.
-
It would be awesome if bulls got that big in the wild.
-
its always interesting with this being the age of information, how easy it is for people to belive stuff on the internet.

that is an awsome commercial, lol. if there are any sexy single lady hunters out there, i'm also a French Model.....fyi i have my catfish blocker turned on, lol.
-
Still a great animal. People can hunt however they choose but I bet it costs a arm and a leg lol there is no way I can afford that kind of hunt lol
-
I'd only be happy for a disabled hunter procuring one of these farmed elk. Otherwise, I'm more impressed by any hunter taking a public land cow or spike!
-
Big difference between hunting and harvesting! :twocents:
