He's sneaking on something. I didn't see the one in the background at first glance.
-
Have you heard by chance whether they saw more than one set of tracks when they checked the cam?
-
Where the reference to Tonasket come from? Aeneas Valley, I have friend living there and yes there is wolves in them there hills. For many years now. Cool pic but creeps me out. I had a wolf howling at me about 100yards away at dusk this year by Republic. The pack answeres from top of the hill. Very troubling.

Shoot shovel and shut up.

I didn't look at the picture closely and missed the grey in the background.......

I have seen a few up out of havilla clear back in the mid 80's.

My brother lived about 5 miles East of Tonasket, he had wolves attack his Shepherd a few times

Nice Black one :mgun:

Lets live trap them and relocate to Green Lake on the wet-side.See how they like wolves in their backyard. :)

I just got a phone call telling me a rancher near Tonasket is losing cattle. He just found 2 or 3 that were pretty much totally eaten, he thinks it's wolves.

Talked to the guys at the OVGS booth last night at the Sportsmans show and they wouldn't even discuss the picture or anything about it.
They said they wished they had never put the picture up. The phone has not stopped ringing and the wdfw is probing them for info.

Wolf lovers are probably harrassing them. That's the problem with facebook, all the idiots. :twocents:

WDFW should hire some hound hunters to find wolf tracks and packs. Hound hunters can spot a lion track driving 50 mph, tell the direction and size of the cat and how old it is. They've got years of experience. No, they hire stupid kids just out of school many females that don't even know the difference between a deer and a wolf track. Do we hire a plumber to wire our house? If you want to find tracks you need to hire people that are expert trackers. Not even many deer hunters are very good at tracking (no offense). Hound hunters have examined thousands of tracks so why not hire them to find these wolves. Although, they may have to require that the guy not carry a gun. This could be problematic. :chuckle:

There's been wolves in the area for yrs. old man saw one in the mid 90's above chesaw. He was on a ledge glassing and all of a sudden the hairs on his neck stood up, looked and a wolf was watchin him from 100yds. I remember meeting him back at the truck it bothered him to say the least.

This one has been spotted several times. The closest was about 3.5 miles from the town of Tonasket. It is alone.

I was camping near Wauconda last year during modern deer. I went outside to shut off the generator and herd the coyotes howling. Then realized that it wasn't no yote. Kind of makes your buttwhole pucker up. Then later that night i was woken up buy the camper shaking, but it was just some d@%m beefers playing tricks on me. Anyways, it really makes you think when your out there by your lonesome all day.

I live between Hull and Havillah, south of Swanson Mill, there have been wolves trailing deer through my property.
After that happened, wife and I are getting ready to walk the 1/2 mile out to the mail box...wife will go: "you're armed? right?"
-
My uncle lived in tonasket and saw wolves 10 plus years ago.

Just caught this. There is a black wolf that has been spotted close to Tonasket. It has not been seen with any others as the last sighting I heard about which was in October. I don't know if this is the same wolf or not.

My wife and I didn't see the second one either until we read a few comments.
