Just out of curiosity does anyone know if they are doing it this year,High Mtn. in Moses said they aren't, my hunting buddy said they are.IM CONFUSED......Or is there another one on Feb 2-3
-
I don't no, I herd they were. I will try & make some calls tomorrow to try & find out. If I hear anything I will put it up.
-
The hunt is still scheduled and the club has their permit!
Feb. 1st-2nd. Mandatory registration from 4-7 Friday at Warden airport.
-
Thanks, do you know is it still $100/team?(2Man)
-
Same format as in the past. $100 per team
-
Is there a website
-
Any other info? Rules regulations? anything?
-
the rules are all state regs apply, and they normally have ping pong balls to put in the mouth so you can't fake it... If it is the same as years past there is a break down for 1,2,3 for the different categories. Make sure you have your hunting Lic handy you will need your wild ID # I'm looking forward to going again this year.

What is the time of the hunt?
-
Registration starts at 4pm Friday. $100 per two person team buys you 2 raffle tickets and 2 meal tickets. All hunters must weigh in by 6pm on Saturday.
This event is my favorite hunting trip every season. Nothing like an excuse to go hunting for 24 hours straight with your best friend! We usually get skunked but always have a great time.

I posted rules and sign up sheet in Contest,Event section of web sight
-
thanks for all the updates
-
The hunt is on. You have to register at Warden airport Friday.
-
So how did this go? Would love to see pics!
-
It was good a lot of dogs shot. I will upload pictures tomorrow, only have 2
-
One more
-
Wow! Thats a pile of yotes! How many hunters did it take to get all those?
-
60 teams and 78 yotes
-
That's awesome
-
Even though we only got one it was fun
-
what team won?
-
They payed out in 3 catagories biggest male, female, most coyotes... As i recall you could only take one place in each catagory, so if you took the biggest male you also could not get the 3rd largest and collec the $ for both payouts... On the other post about the hunt i posted the weights of the largest animals and most # of dogs
-
Did it years back. I shy'd away since when the winning team rolled in with 27 dogs. Bs.... It sounds like they've changed the process since but I lost all interest in coyote derbies since then. More fun rolling dogs with buddies and putting my $ aside for ammo!
