I was at disney all last week, and I saw tons of little kids with toy guns (even at sea world) that blew bubbles. I have to say I was glad to see it as it reminded me of the little girl who got into trouble over a hello kitty bubble gun the other day. Its innocent, they were playing and having fun.

In high school, my entire binder was plastered with hand gun pics I had cut out from magazines cause they were gorgeous. In todays school, I would have been brought up on charges it seems. What has happened?!

Was just thinking the same thing, when I was in high school, during Oct & Nov, there were rifles and shotguns in just about everybody's truck in the parking lot.  Get out of class and hit the woods before dark!

Write your Rep's and tell them to get their feet back on the ground if they have jumped onto the emotionally driven anti-gun bandwagon.

The Utah Sheriff's Association said it very well in their messsage to the President:

“…With the number of mass shootings America has endured, it is easy to demonize firearms; it is also foolish and prejudiced. Firearms are nothing more than instruments, valuable and potentially dangerous, but instruments nonetheless. Malevolent souls, like the criminals who commit mass murders, will always exploit valuable instruments in the pursuit of evil. As professional peace officers, if we understand nothing else, we understand this: lawful violence must sometimes be employed to deter and stop criminal violence. Consequently, the citizenry must continue its ability to keep and bear arms, including arms that adequately protect them from all types of illegality….”

The old days.  Would do the same.  And once a buddy left a loaded PPK in his pocket (they're kind of small and easy to forget).  Found it about an hour after school started.  Went and told the teacher and showed her....she said: Well, go put it in your car and get back before the test.

No kidding. In highschool, my teacher let me give a demonstration on gun safety. Brought my rifle into the classroom and demonstrated to my peers. Took it back to the parking lot after class.
