Bowhunter education courses are based on the International Bowhunter Education Foundation curriculum. Topics include equipment, anatomy, tracking, safety, regulations and other subjects of particular value to bowhunters. The course is designed to benefit both new and experienced bowhunters.
The next 2013 class will be May 20(M), 22(W), 24(F) from 6-9 pm and Saturday, May 25 from 8-2:00. Traditional students attend all sessions, online students attent only the field course on Saturday.
I have taken this class at out club last year. It is good anywhere that requires some kind of archery certification like AK, or Canadian provences. The instructor is a club member and has instructed standard Hunters Ed courses. you have to pre register and i will try and get the info to register up here.

Keep us posted on the new dates. I've been bow hunting on & off since I was 12 but it sounds like it would be something I would be interested in attending. If nothing else for the certification to be presented for out of state hunts requiring some sort of proof of proficiency.
