:yeah: I saw a guy shooting one at 50 yards with a 50 BMG. Just stick a dynamite stick up a coyote butt a light. You get the picture. Crazy *censored*.

would a .22 short even kill a yote humanily...reason im asking is .22lrs are very hard to find now but there is still a crap load of shorts and they are half the price :twocents:

I was just imagining a 50 BMG Z-Max round :chuckle:
(no they don't make it, but they should)

Outside of these seasons you can use any caliber you want.

NO! Not even in a live trap. We have flattened them on coon skulls at point blank. Of course, stick one through a lung, it will probably die, but I would not guess quickly or humanely. :twocents:

When I read that link, I think it's saying that I can hunt coyotes with any caliber I want to, but if I'm using a 240 or larger caliber, and a deer or elk season is open, I have to have a tag in my possession.

Yep...just another stupid law that the Game drones came up with. Like you can't kill/poach a deer or an elk with a 22-250 or 223..... Those people are regular geniuses I tell ya
I stood next to a Game Officer in Raymond, Wa. one evening and watched him shoot a deer that had just been shot but was not dead yet, he shot it 9 times in the head with a .22LR pump action rifle while he stood over it waiting for it to die. I offered up my 12 gauge but he refused to use it :dunno: I saw this doe rolling down a hill next to the highway, as I pulled up to the vehicle that was stopped they got in and left in a hurry, it was after dark, my suspicion was they were spotlighting, so I called 911. Gamie showed up within about 20 minutes, I told him what I saw then he euthanized the deer, however, one 00 buck would have done the deed more efficiently. :twocents:

Is there a round capacity restriction? I was going to try hunting yotes with my AR but not sure if I can only have five rounds in the mag or all thirty rounds of rock and roll

No to both questions -
-
You can use a one-thousand round magazine, if you can get one that big. Deer, elk, bear, coyote, doesn't matter. There are no restrictions on magazine capacity.
-
Well in that case the 4th of July may be here the next time I see a coyote in my cross hairs :) can't wait!
-
My understanding is the only magazine limits are hunting upland game and waterfowl. Limited to 3 rounds

Try to get that on video too, if you can. I'd love to see it.
