Title: "Great Bear baiting bust"
Post by: Bofire on September 25, 2008, 04:48:06 PM: I have seen many posts about this, and recently Krusty got in trouble over this. I was in the camp the night this occurred. First I want to go on record of saying that: At this event Krusty did NOT hunt over bait. There were several citations written, none to me or Krusty, or several other folks who were there.
none of the citations were found guilty, one guy was found guilty of threatening a warden. I do not know why or all the legal arguments. I was called to court three times to testify in the case.
Many folks were out hunting, I was in camp cooking dinner when the Wardens came in.
During the weekend I did not see any bait, did not see a bait stand. In court I did see a game warden lie on the stand but the prosecuter did not care when I told him about the lie.

If anyone wants to know about what happend that night, PM me and I will tell all I know.

Used the lanyard on the call to attach my tag to said bear.
