whats everyone using?No on the hunter orange. Other than that the best camo advice I can give you is DON'T MOVE. In 40 years turkey hunting I've found movement is a much bigger tip off to a turkey than whatever camo pattern you happen to like.

Best piece of advise you're going to get. Movement is a deal breaker, unless you can do it it super slow motion. If you have to look behind you, it might take several minutes to move your head as if it is not moving. Just be sure of one thing, if it took 5-6 minutes to move and look behind you, don't forget to take the same amount of time getting back to your starting point. :tup:

I've got mostly Mossy Oak Breakup and RealTree APG ... I've setup in an open slope and had the tom come in over 300 yards to harvest at 10 yards ... limiting movement is the key as said above.
My favorite....got to love the black in that Mossy Oak pattern. Also have the Reatree in several flavors. Just depends on understory, but again any camo works well....if you don't move.

I'm only partially kidding.
The land I hunt turkey on has a big loop road (it's private). The owner rides his quad around it every day and the turkeys basically ignore him. But if you get off the quad and try to sneak around the woods...... they go into turkey-being-hunted mode.
And so my son got his first turkey.....

I avoid colors that are on gobblers heads.... Never know when an idiot sees that color, thinks turkey and shoots... Just an added precaution.

Make sure your silhouette is broken. Oftentimes we think we are front of really good cover, and in reality you are skylined to beat the band.
:yeah: and movement are more critical than camo pattern in my mind.

I prefer the APG in the spring because it has more green in it and blends in perfectly with new grass/leaves popping up in the spring.

Just make sure if the camo is older than you use some camo wash to refresh it as old camo can give off a bit of a white sheen to their eyesight. I have havested birds sitting on open slopes by sitting dead still and quiet ... and they were up close and personnel ...
