Title: Whitefish
Post by: zoorda on February 23, 2013, 05:33:42 PM
Anybody have any tips for catching Whitefish? I hooked one last year on the Tilton river by accident and I'm hoping to target them at some point.

I caught four whitefish in the Skagit last month. Just near where the Sauk runs into it. Our incidental catches were based upon the same setup as steelhead which was drifting with pink yarn, red hook and smelly jelly. We threw all of them back. Heck even the cutthroats liked that rig.
