Title: Anyone finding BT sheds?
Post by: grundy53 on March 01, 2013, 08:15:55 AM: I haven't seen many posted on here and was just wondering if anyone was doing any good. I went out 2 weeks ago but I was with my wife who doesn't care for the rain too much so didn't really get to look for very long. I know it's a little late but hopefully there are still a few left when I go tomorrow.

Post by: Ridge Roamer on March 01, 2013, 08:50:00 AM: I found a few the last couple years years but the reward to effort ratio is tough for true westside Blacktails & the hiking around my area is thick, thorny & dark so I am not looking much this year - holding out for some eastside Benchlegs/Mulies or elk once I can get over there.

The westside around the convergence zone is some of the hardest area to get around from my experience,

Post by: The scout on March 01, 2013, 08:55:53 AM: I haven't found any yet and i've spent alot of time out there.my buddy works at bangor and he was watching two different bucks packing horn till just last week so maybe we were just looking a little early :tup:just like ridge runner said its very difficult to get around where the big boys shed and hard to spot em there

So the score for the last 2 outings is, sheds 0 and trail cams 3 :chuckle: :chuckle:. Pretty sure all these people (me included) with trail cams are also adding to the competition for finding these already hard to find mythical bones....
