Title: how long is too long?
Post by: 7t9cobra on March 06, 2013, 10:36:01 AM
Yesterday, one of our truck drivers sees a cougar in a legal area where im somewhat familiar with. He doesnt tell me until today. Its been 24 hours. Is his trail too cold or should I bail out of work?

Grab a fawn bleat call and go.  Your odds of tagging him are infinitely better than if you don't try.  If kitty has a recent kill, may be within a very short distance of where sighted.

Try youtube to get the sound, it is actually pretty easy to make just pinching your nostrils between thumb and index finger with your hand cupped over your mouth.
