We hunt all of the northeast units. I have lived my entire life here and have been hunting bear in this area since I was old enough to follow my dad and uncles through the woods. (over 40 years) I started outfitting in 1977, since then our hunters have killed hundreds of bear, I know exactly where to hunt in every NE GMU during the spring or the fall season. We offer guided and unguided bear hunts with meals and lodging included in our lodge and cabins. I also offer DIY Maps to hunters who want to do it all on their own.
On the average 1 in 6 hunters who draws a tag will kill a bear in NE WA, but all my guided spring bear hunters have been 100% successful. Why waste your gas and time scouting and trying to figure out where and how to hunt when you can contact Bearpaw Outfitters and then drive over when the hunting gets good and start hunting in an excellent area the first day you are here.

The spring hides here are thick and that was a big 7 ft bear.
That guy has killed 22 or 23 animals with me, he's thinking about coming back turkey hunting this spring.

Bearpaw, can you PM me a just returning from deployment fall MF bear/deer hunt? I've never shot a white tail, or a bear!

We have several private properties with old apple orchards so a whitetail/bear combo is fairly doable during the October firearm deer season.

Probably the first week of Sept is best most years for the berries, but some years other weeks have been better. Let me know when you can get away and we'll make it happen.
