Title: Athens bows

Anybody have any new thoughts or expierence with athens bows? Also for hunting here in the Northwest especialy the wet side being really thick do you find your self wanting a shorter bow? yes i went through the archives and have read those posts. thinking the new hgo 120, affliction, or ibex

Yeah, there's a lot of posts in the archives for Athens.  I've owned an Exceed and Ibex.  Both great bows.  Wish I still had them, but sold them to finance other projects.  If you're looking for a short ATA the Ibex is a winner.  IMO, it's a much better value than the Heli-m.  If I had ~$500 in my pocket I'd get a used Afflixtion off of AT in a heartbeat.  The Athens warranty covers their bows for life no matter who the owner is.
