Title: austin & Halleck question
Post by: dawhunt on September 30, 2008, 09:47:14 AM: Hi again. I have two of their muzzleloader one I hunt with and one thats never been fired
does anyone know who made there sights and were a guy can get a breech plug.

I have one spare and am saving the other gun just because you can't get them anymore.

The one I hunt with is a great shooter sorry they went out of business for sure.

As far as a breach plug, you might get lucky and find another manufacturer that uses a plug with the same dimensions, but you more than likely would have to have a machine shop make one.

I'm leaving for Coville in the morning with 6 point,I'll check and see if they have the same breech plug and bolt as an Austin & Halleck when I get back :hello:.
